Merging the depth of underground bass music with the intensity of main-stage selections, Edmonton’s LØSTRONAUT manifests spacey wubz driven by a love for the culture. Inspired by Western Canada’s bass music festivals, LØSTRONAUT resolved to learn DJing in late 2018. His first major milestone arrived in early 2019 when a mix submission landed him a spot at The Forest Awakening festival in Sparwood, B.C., igniting an unrelenting drive to continue developing his craft.
LØSTRONAUT self-released his first single “AirCutter” in 2021, and has since followed it up with releases on Finnish label Ay Yo Trip!, and Canadian labels The Goblins Lair, Off Grid Records, and DoYu Digital, where his release “The Sound” was premiered by the Florida-based media outlet and bass community Headbang Society. Rather than sticking to one particular tempo or genre, LØSTRONAUT has carefully built his catalogue of original productions with the aim of giving his DJ sets stylistic range. With festivals returning and his passion for live DJing ascending to new heights, LØSTRONAUT approaches each set as a journey through interstellar tranquility and astral chaos.
